How to Be Successful
1. Dreams
Dreams are a combination of images, thoughts, feelings, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind, usually during certain stages of sleep. We unconsciously see two or three dreams every day, some of which are erased from our minds as soon as we see them. But I am not talking about those dreams which we see while sleeping at night, I am talking about those dreams which Dr. Abdul Kalam said
A dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep.
The dream should be SMART.
S - SPECIFIC
M - MEASURABLE
A - ACHIEVABLE
R - REALISTIC
T - TIME BOUND
The dream should be specific. My dream can be to have a beautiful house. Dreaming of a beautiful home is not enough to make your dreams come true. How many rooms will there be in the house, how many floors will there be in the house, what will be the color of the outside and inside of the house, all this has to be decided.
My dreams should be measurable and achievable. If I think now that I will build a house on the moon, then my dream will not come true. My dreams should be realistic and time-bound.
When I think I will build my dream
house, I have to decide how many days I will build it. The dream which
does not have a definite time to fulfill it can never be successful.
So add time to your dreams. Now your dream can lead you toward
success.
2. Faith
Nothing is difficult or easy in this world. Everything
depends on your faith. If you believe a task is hard for you, it is
hard for you. On the other hand, if someone else thinks and believes
that the work is easy, then the work is easy for him.
The real game is your belief. 100% trust is required for any work. It
should not be less than 100%. Water boils at a temperature of 100 °C,
but does not boil at a temperature of 99 °C. Similarly, 100% faith
will give you success in any work. Believe in yourself and believe in
the work you are doing.
Story
A dog wakes up in the morning and searches for its
food. At the same time, he sees a rabbit. The dog thinks it is my
food. He begins to believe that he will catch and eat this rabbit. The
rabbit realizes that the dog has seen him.
He started running here and there to save his life and fell into the pit. The dog ran and stood in front of the pit and started digging the pit with its feet. Seeing that dog, many dogs gathered and started digging in that pit. After digging for a while the dogs that came later went back one by one.
But the dog who saw the rabbit enter the hole and
believed that he would catch and eat the rabbit continued his work.
After doing this for some time, he caught the rabbit. This dog had
more faith than the rest of the dogs, so he kept doing his job until
he caught the rabbit. If you can believe in your work then success
will kiss your feet.
3. Make a plan
Make a plan for what you want to achieve. Success in work depends on
planning and proper planning will give you success. Make a proper plan
based on what you want to achieve and how many days you want to
achieve it, how much time you will give to this work. If the plan is
right then you will get success.
4. Work on the plan
You have made a plan now start working on that plan. A proper plan
never fails. People fail because they fail to plan properly. You have
a dream and you have faith in that dream and using that faith you have
made a proper plan. Now you have to work in the field. When we start
working on our plan, we have to face many challenges.
a) Fear
The fear of what people will say if I fail - this fear often consumes me and I give up before I can complete the task. I had dreams for myself, for my family. If I succeed, I'll be fine, my family will be fine. I won't let anyone steal my dreams. On the other hand, what scares me will not make my dreams come true. That's why fear should be conquered.
b) Negative atmosphere/environment
You may not want to walk the path that ten other people are walking. If your path leads to success then those ten people will make the environment around you negative.
When we go to the market, many times we see crabs in the basket. The
mouth of the basket is open and there are many crabs in that basket.
When one crab tries to get out, another crab grabs the crab's leg and
pulls it down, and no crab escapes from the open basket. This is a
negative human mindset. He will try to stop you from being successful
by saying negative things, and creating negative situations around you
because he did not succeed. A negative environment cannot come in the
way of your success.
c) Commitment to dreams
Success is your dream. So stay committed to your dreams. Keep the commitment to your family. Staying accountable to your dreams often requires you to postpone certain tasks. If any work is preventing you from succeeding then you have to stop that work for some time.
